Helpful Homeschool Hints Meme

Helpful Homeschool Hints is a weekly meme hosted here at Many Little Blessings.  It is posted each Thursday (usually in the middle of the night, right around midnight, as the day begins).

Helpful Homeschool Hints is almost like a Works for Me Wednesday, but specifically for homeschooling. You can share a tip that helps you through your homeschooling day, the curriculum that you’re currently using, a great science experiment, how you are integrating cooking into your day, a review of a homeschool product (or just something that might be of interest to homeschoolers), an especially great field trip idea, how to not lose your mind, whatever!  It should just be something that might help another homeschooler – even if it’s just with the fact that they’ll be able to find a kindred spirit.

You can use an older post or a newer post (and your post doesn’t have to be written only with Helpful Homeschool Hints in mind, it can be any homeschooling concept/hint/activity that works for your family), you just need to make sure:

1. It’s family friendly reading.

2. You have a link back to Helpful Homeschool Hints or you use the Helpful Homeschool Hints graphic (there is coding below) in your post.  You might include something like this at the bottom of your post (you can even copy and paste it, if you want):

This post has been submitted to Helpful Homeschool Hints.

or you can use this graphic:

3. You must use the permalink of your blog post, not your blog’s web address.  For instance, if I wanted to post about my family’s curriculum we are using for the 2010 – 2011 school year, I would link to this address in the link up:

http://www.manylittleblessings.com/2010/08/our-homeschool-curriculum-2010-2011/

I would not just link to http://www.manylittleblessings.com

If you’re still not sure, check out what Darcy has to say about permalinks.

4. Helpful Homeschool Hints is hosted here at Many Little Blessings.  You cannot put a link up for it on your own blog.  Come here to share your link and visit other people’s blogs who are participating.

If you do not follow these guidelines, your link will be removed.

I look forward to enjoying lots of homeschool ideas, tips, and encouragement!
