I remember back in the day when I used to look at my blog stats on Google Analytics very often. Now, I don’t look quite so much. One of the sad things about that is that I have missed out on looking up the search terms that people have used to find my blog. While these generally make sense and are fine in the searches that larger numbers of people do to find their way here, it’s those that are all the way at the bottom of the list and were only searched for once in a month’s time that can be a little more on the entertaining side.
Here are some that tickled my funny bone or surprised me when I just checked it out:
“an owl making first communion” – Is there something surprising I didn’t know about owls and their religious traditions?
“baby baptism background boys” – Okay, so I understand that this person was just looking for something that hit all of those areas, but I couldn’t help but crack up when I saw it.
“how big is a 504 square foot apartment” – How perfect! I lived in a 504 square foot apartment, so I can tell you from experience that it is 504 square feet.
“how should I prepare for having s*x for the first time” – Not that I’m scared of the word that I didn’t spell out, but I didn’t want some other poor, unfortunate person to also find themselves here based on that search. I’ve got nothing for you here, I’m sorry. But, wow. I just couldn’t not share this one.
“I need to relax” – Me too!
“is it required to get a First Communion cake?” – Yes, otherwise the First Communion police might show up.
“what will my mom say at my funeral?” – What? I don’t know. I hope she might be gone before that. But, if not, hopefully nice things, I would imagine.

I made a new printable that I shared over at Catholic Mothers Online this week, with ten June activities for Catholic families:

We are officially hitting 180 days of school this week!
It would be a lot better if I hadn’t mentally checked out a couple of weeks ago though. At least we’ll have a little time off now though. It would be even better if we didn’t have 4-H projects waiting to be done.

Have you seen the newer series of AT&T commercials with the guy talking to kids in a classroom? Oh man, each one of them is just better than the last. We will stop the fast forwarding while watching shows we’ve taped on the DVR just to watch those commercials. That’s some good marketing!
I have to admit that I love them even more now that I found out (while getting this video) that most of the material is just from actually talking to the kids. Kids crack me up.
Oh, and although I did have to go with the new “Infinity” one, I’m not sure if it’s my favorite or if it’s the “Werewolf” one or the “Two Things” one.

Speaking of cute kids and videos, I can’t believe that I’m going to share two videos in a row like this, but while moving onto my new computer, I came across one of my favorite videos that I had bookmarked several years ago.
Check out this little French girl hiding under a desk after eating some candies:

Is it any wonder that I’m easily side tracked while looking around online?
I simply try to jump onto something like Facebook to share a post, and the next thing I know it’s an hour later and I’m reading about how celebrities look without makeup.
