Apparently I needed a vacation from my Disney World vacation, as I have spent all week just trying to get caught back up. I feel like things are (maybe) finally getting back to normal.
I also feel like I would like to start planning our next trip to Disney World. Oh my goodness — it was just so fun!

Although it might be kind of late to say this, I have to say it anyway. If you don’t currently have your children buying/making/whatever gifts for each other for Christmas, you really should. This is one of those traditions that I just love, and my kids get so excited to give gifts to each other.
I finally took the kids shopping (we actually did it in the store this year, instead of in the “Mom Shop” in my bedroom) this week, and they’ve been anxiously counting down the days until Christmas, while noting that they can’t wait to give their gifts to each other. I just love that!

When Molly heard someone talking (on the television) about going to the hospital and needing money to pay the bill, she said, “You have to pay for the hospital?”
My Mom told her yes, and Molly asked how much it costs. My Mom told her that it all depends on what kinds of things you have done.
“Oh, so it’s like a penny per thing?” Molly asked.

In another funny Molly moment (in the same evening), Molly decided that she thought she had known my friend “Miss Becky” for about 59 years now. I informed her that we had known Becky for probably about four years, and that Molly is only seven and can’t have known anyone for 59 years.
“Well, I used to be younger before,” was Molly’s retort. Despite arguments, she wouldn’t agree with our reasoning. I guess when you have good friends, it’s hard not to feel like you’ve known them forever.
I’ve been busy working on design projects for some blogs. I haven’t been keeping up with posting about them, but here is
are a couple of the latest ones a header and button for House Unseen. Life Unscripted and a set for Catholic Deals.
I’m going to be doing some price tweaking soon, so if you are interested in getting on my queue list, be sure to do so very soon! (People getting on the queue list now would have projects starting in late January-early February.)

This will be my last post until after Christmas, so I’ll take this opportunity to say…
Merry Christmas! I hope that your weekend is filled with love, happiness, and peace!
This post is linked to 7 Quick Takes and Weekly Wrap Up.

thanks for the reminder of when the kids were little, sigh,
Merry Christmas may it be happy and safe for you and yours.
#4–and you wouldn’t want it any other way! There’s something profound in that,I think…
Have a wonderful Christmas, Angie!
If we ever get to Disney, I’m sure I’ll need a vacation afterwards. That’s especially true as my husband refuses to go there and I’d have all four boys on my own.
I hope you all have a great Christmas!
#2 is really good. Thanks for sharing it.
And just to say–I really love the way your designs combine personality, elegance and simplicity. Would love to hear more about your design projects.
