Thanks to Trop50 for sponsoring my writing about fabulous bloggers. This year Trop50 is granting 50 Fabulous Wishes. Click here to enter for a chance to win $1,000 to celebrate a friend with a refreshing attitude about looking and feeling fabulous!
It is, of course, impossible to mention only five bloggers that I think are fabulous. Seriously? In the whole world wide web — just five? I could probably list 5o fabulous bloggers without even having to try. Still, this assignment was for only five fabulous bloggers, so I had some tough choices to make. (So, please, don’t be sad if you thought you would have made this list and didn’t. If I could have listed more, I would have.)
If you’re a regular reader here at Many Little Blessings, none of these will probably come as a surprise to you. I have mentioned every one of these gals on my site before. Not only are they fabulous bloggers, they are fabulous friends. (Double bonus!)
1. Kris from Weird, Unsocialized Homeschoolers and Eclipsed:
Kris is not only a powerhouse when it comes to homeschooling, but she has inspired so many people with her story of weight loss over the last year and a half. She is such a great encourager in so many aspects. When we first started homeschooling, I was just seconds away from putting Jack back in school (per his request) when Kris talked me off the ledge with an email filled with amazing advice. She is also loyal and committed, having been a writer on The Homeschool Classroom from day one. (Back in the day when she wrote once a week! Yikes! What was I thinking when I asked people to do that?)
2. Angela from Homegrown Mom
Speaking of great encouragers, Angela is the cream of the crop! She is so kind and genuine. When I was recently planning to launch Connections Network, she mentioned that she had thought years ago about starting something like that. So, you know what she did next? She typed up all the notes she had made and emailed them to me. Don’t you just love that? Plus, like many of her writings, it was filled with not only excellent information, but tons of little comments here and there that had me laughing while saying, “That’s a great idea!” a second later. (Interesting tidbit: Angela is the only person I ever approached about writing at The Homeschool Classroom. I read a piece on her blog and knew I had to have her!)
3. Amy from Raising Arrows
Not only does Amy have an amazing blog and story, she is filled with faith beyond measure. Her steadfast faith, even through the loss of her young daughter (Emily), is beyond admirable. Amy has shared of herself so much to nurture others who have dealt with loss, those homeschooling (especially large families), those dealing with diastasis recti, and just everyone else she comes in contact with. Amy is also the queen of brainstorming. I can’t believe the ideas she comes up with!
4. Lauren from Mama’s Laundry Talk
What a gem Lauren is! Her kindness and genuine nature is just as true in person as it comes across on her blog. She is funny, sweet, smart, and darn it — I just love her accent. (You know what was my favorite thing about her accent when I was with her at Savvy Blogging Summit? Listening to her talk on the phone to her kids.) I felt so blessed to be able to spend so much time with her in July when she and I ro0med together. Y’all (see – I’m channeling)…Okay…Y’all — I kid you not when I tell you that I cried when I knew I wasn’t going to see her this July. Look – here I talked a whole paragraph and didn’t even say anything about laundry. You know what? I don’t like laundry. I don’t think I would read a laundry blog by anyone else. I know I wouldn’t. But, from the first time I looked at her blog (when she asked a question during one of the talks at Blissdom 2010), I have been a subscriber.
5. Lacy from Catholic Icing
What a power house from such a kid. (See – I can call her a kid, because I’m about nine years old than her.) Her blog is amazing, and so is her mind. I cannot believe the business mind that lady has. Her advice is no nonsense and quite often right on target. Plus, um – hello? Her blog is awesome! I don’t know how I got there originally (it had only just barely started), but I was hooked. Well, that was until she went to a partial feed. I let her know that I was so disappointed because I didn’t subscribe to partial feed blogs, but wished her luck. Lo and behold, the next time I tried to resubscribe (I do that from time to time with blogs I really like that I unsubscribe to for that reason, just in case), there was a full feed. It was only ages later that I found it that it was because of me. She thought I was a big shot (laughable!), and thought she should do what I suggested. Ah, how the tables have turned, since she’s always the one giving the great advice.
I would seriously love to cheat now and list about forty other people (or at least about ten more), but rules are rules, so this is my list. Please know – if you know that I love you, it’s true. If you didn’t make the list, it’s just because my life has been blessed by so many wonderful people.
Who are some of the fabulous bloggers that you love?

Wonderful choices! There was two I didn’t know so I will be sure to check them out.
I hope you had a chance to check the ones that you weren’t familiar with then.
(((Angie))) Thanks for making me smile this morning! I was feeling very discouraged (it’s weigh-in day and I did not see what I was hoping to see on the scale), so I needed that. I feel in great company with the four other bloggers you mentioned.
Now, I’m off to find out how I can win. I could use a little tad of change!
