Molly typically wears dresses throughout the summer, but every so often, we can coax her into a pair of shorts or capri pants.
One day, in what was a surprise request, Molly said, “I want to wear my Capri Sun pants today.”
Despite repeated corrections, she continued to call them Capri Sun pants most of the day (even though she would correct herself as soon as she said it). I just love those little errors that kids make.
What are some of the gems that your kids said when they were little?

That is hilarious! My kids are always saying silly things like that too, I’m thankful because it keeps our house in a good mood!

That is too funny!
My favorite recent one was my 3 year old telling me he didn’t want to eat macaroni with Brad Paisley on it (referring to the parsley)
That is too funny! My 3 year starts many sentences with “When I was a grown up…” ended by “but now i am a kid and I can’t do that yet.” We have tried to explain to her that she has never been a grown up, but she will be one day. Oh well! Eventually she will catch on, for now, it is just funny.
@Melissa,
It really makes me wonder what kids think. I have had two different kiddos who have made reference to when they were adults. Molly even used to say, “When I was the mommy, and you were my baby…”
Our 6 yr old before she had her tonsils out used to say at the end of every prayer Hay Man… thinking she was saying Amen… I miss it and have it recorded for when she gets older… just miss this so much…
