Many Little Links: The Bookmark Edition

in great links

The other day, I was going through some of my bookmarks on the Internet.  I have to admit, my bookmark list is a little scary.  I have tried to organize them before, and then I just let them get out of hand again.  Here are some things that I really enjoyed when I found them (for a second time) in my bookmarks:

A Homeschool Curriculum for Preschool and Kindergarten – BestHomeschooling.org
Looks like a great list of things to do with young learners!

Colorful Swirled Cupcakes – Chica and Jo
A fun option for cupcake decorating with lots of different ways to do it.

Free Online Calendar PDF – Incompetech
One of my favorites that I have mentioned before.  I have used these pdfs a variety of ways — menu planning, blog schedule, etc.

Printables and Resources – DonnaYoung.org
Well known in the homeschool community, Donna Young’s website is amazing!

National 4-H Curriculum – 4-H Mall.org
Even if you are not in 4-H, some of these books can be a great resource for homeschooling or extra activities to do with your non-homeschooled children.

Too Much Candy (video)
This video just cracks me up.  I don’t know if it’s the concept, or just her sweet little voice speaking French.  Either way, it’s too sweet.

Photo Tutorial: Wrapping Hair in Rags – To Love, Honor, and Vacuum
We haven’t tried this yet, but I saved it as a definite must try.

Laptop Lunches
While my kiddos don’t have to take their lunch with them to school, it’s not unusual for us to be on the go at lunch time from time to time.  I would love it if we all had one of these!

Steps Towards a More Sustainable Life - Zen Habits
Great questions to ask yourself when trying to make your life more eco-friendly

TheTinyTimer.com
A great way to keep track of your time online.  (Although I also recommend Leech Block, if you just can’t keep track of your time.)

Rainbow Cupcakes – Family Fun Magazine
I guess cupcakes just sound good right now, but these are super cool!

Artist Study: Charlotte Mason Style – Squidoo (by Jimmie)
We haven’t done artist studies, but I want to start them this school year.

This is just a tiny look at some of my bookmarks.  I could have added so many more, but didn’t want to overwhelm anyone.  Looking through all of my bookmarks really does cinch it for me – I need to organize these bookmarks!

We have been using the laptop lunch box for several years, they are so great for picnics and lunches on the go.

I did rag curls as a kid (junior high maybe?). My hair came out so curly, I had to wet them to loosen them up. I remember they took a long time to dry also.

Great links!

I have been cleaning up my bookmarks too and can’t believe how many I have!
