Yikes! I bet that wasn't cheap!! When you hesitated about the drink, the waitress probably thought you were going to order Jack and Coke to get through the afternoon ;)

Yes, I hate flying, it terrifies me. I sat in my seat and cried hot silent tears before take off when we went to Germany. Once it's over I think "That wasn't so bad, I could do that again." But the fearlessness leaves in about 24 hours LOL!

<a href="#comment-3049" rel="nofollow">@Kris @ WUHS and Eclipsed</a>,

It's very true, Kris.

Actually, during the same visit, Molly started to cry because she was out of tokens. Now, while I wasn't happy that this was positive reinforcement for her crying, the manager asked her what was wrong and when he figured out that it was that she was out of tokens, he distracted her, threw about six tokens into her cup, and then said, "Oh my goodness! I think your cup just grew tokens!"

It was a really positive experience during the party. (Especially when they were so flexible when I confirmed 15 kids for the party and ended up with 23!)

I bet you didn't expect me to get anything profound from your 7 Quick Takes post, did you? I did, though. It made me realize how important it is to "pay it forward" as often as you can. Giving you that cup and telling you to get whatever drink you wanted probably didn't cost that CEC worker a dime, but I bet it made your day and made you feel just a bit blessed and cared for. Sometimes it only takes a small act of kindness to add a huge blessing to someone's day. We should try to do that whenever we can; the world would be a nicer place.

Thanks for the reminder.
