I am behind in my Google Reader right now. Yes, I know, this is shocking if you are a regular reader, as you all know how on the ball I am. (Wow — that’s hard to even type without laughing.)
Just on a whim, I popped onto my friend Cheryl’s blog Adventures of a Somewhat Crunchy Mom to see if she had put up a button that I put together for her today. And, that when I saw her latest post “Help a Sista Out.”
And, now my face is probably about seven different shades of red. You know what though? I feel pretty darn loved.
Thanks, Cheryl. If I am ever feeling down, apparently I just need to read that post again.
(For the record — when I finally got to meet Cheryl at Blissdom, the instant I met her all I could think was, “This girl is the cutest, sweetest thing I’ve ever seen.” Apparently my first instincts were pretty right on.)

I, too, really think Cheryl is something special. I haven’t met her personally, but I sure do enjoy her blog and we think alike in many ways. On a separate note, which is how I came to your blog, is that I read your comments on WeAreTHATFamily and wanted to ask you to be in touch with me, please, after you go to your conference. If you find the curriculum you are looking for (yet undetermined) that you can use with 4th & 5th grade, but also the 5yo (if I got that all right), please let me know what you select. I have pk, 2nd, & 5th next year and am undecided on some things still, so I’d just like to tap your brain to see what you might do. Thanks a bunch!
