With three children, for a total of five in our family, I find that I think a lot in threes and fives.
At fast food restaurants, I grab five small paper cups to fill with ketchup.
Time for Flintstone vitamins. Grab out three of them.
Three sets of outfits to set out for kids in the morning.
Oops — only grabbed four straws, we need one more to make five.
Set out five dinner plates. Or, if it’s lunch, set out three of the kids’ divided trays.
Three rice-filled socks to warm up just before bedtime.
A trip to Build-a-Bear leaves us with three new “family” members.
Five throw blankets to pull out when everyone is cuddling up for watching a movie.
Three. Five. Three. Five.
Do you seem to always be grabbing things in a certain quantity?
