My kids love to have pudding as their dessert with lunch.
Yeah, yeah — my kids have dessert pretty much every day with lunch. I hear ya out there. But, we don’t have dessert with dinner about 99% of the time, plus their desserts with lunch are small.
So, now that that we got that out of the way. Let me get back to my tip for this week.
I divide out what is two servings of sugar free pudding between my three kids when they have it as part of their lunch. And, really — pudding would probably be great just like that. But, I don’t stop there. I squirt on a dollop of ReddiWhip (whipped cream) and then a pinch or two of sprinkles.
This simple addition makes them excited every single time I do it! Sometimes I use just your run of the mill rainbow sprinkles, other times I use a seasonal variety, and still other times, I may use bright blue ones. It’s all good. And…it’s all fun!
Sure — I don’t have to do anything to entice my kids to eat the pudding. But, it brings a smile to their face every time. And, do you know what? It brings a smile to my face every time too!
