Thirteen Blog Names I Considered Before Choosing Many Little Blessings

Here are some things I considered naming this blog when I changed the title after not too long of blogging. Any of them are up for grabs, so if someone’s starting a blog and loves one of them — go for it, and don’t worry about offending me. ;)

Oh…but drop me a note — I would love to hear if someone uses one of them!

Of course, they’re not all the most spectacular names ever, but I did like them all. Oh, and I never checked if there were other blogs with the same names, because I didn’t end up going with them.

1. Adventures in Motherhood

2. Names that are an homage to my confirmation name (for St. Martha) — Modern Day Martha (or) Thoroughly Modern Martha

3. Titles from a particular 10,000 Maniacs song: Blessed & Lucky (or) These Are Days (or) Grow & Bloom

4. Simply Angie (This would be especially unique if your name is not, in fact, Angie.)

5. Adventures of a Mom of Three (Again, if you’re not a Mom of three, this is a very ironic title)

6. Our 1/4 Acre of Heaven (Something Eric said about our home one day)

7. Special Blessings

8. The Little Things (Tag Line: Reflections on Daily Life from a Mostly Stay at Home Mom)

9. The pearls I did not buy (based on the first poem on this list)

10. Scatter joy. (from Ralph Waldo Emerson)

11. what lies within us (thanks again, Ralph Waldo)

12. Our Little Wildflowers

13. Life’s Greatest Blessing (tag line: “The love of a family is life’s greatest blessing” — this is a quote, but I didn’t write down who from)
