But, seriously — there is a group of kids in a house very near us (I swear that they can’t be more than 13 years old, with some being probably seven or eight) that have been setting off fireworks now for the past hour.
Not only is it completely annoying, but we all got upset on the cul de sac when the house on the corner just wouldn’t sell and so then the owner decided to make it a rental. And, while there is nothing wrong with people renting (we did it for a long time), it is just this kind of behavior (fireworks for an hour coming up on midnight, and absolutely no adults out there) that makes people get upset about renters.
I just know that we’re going to be picking up their firework trash off of our yard tomorrow, just like we had to pick up all kinds of firework trash out of our backyard today.
Sorry — I don’t normally vent on here, but this is just annoying and just so rude. Do their parents really think this is acceptable?
