What an honor! I received the Arte y Pico award from someone whose blog I love and who is a constant source of inspiration for me — thanks so much to Kellie at And She Can’t Even Cook (whose amazing Etsy store is, well, um, amazing — I was just wearing my apron this morning). If you haven’t checked out Kellie’s blog before, you really should. If tag backs probably weren’t annoying, I would totally send this award right back at her!
The “Arte y Pico” award which was created to be given to bloggers who inspire others with their creative energy and talents no matter whether it be in the form of writing, artwork, design, interesting material, or contributions to the blogger community. When a blogger receives this award it is considered a “special honor” and, once presented to you, it is to be passed on to at least 5 other bloggers who meet the criteria.
It’s hard to pick five, since I read so many great blogs, but here ya go…
Kelsey at My Sweet Life is just fabulous. Her writing makes me laugh so often, and her photography is just gorgeous. It’s not uncommon for me to say, “Hey — I want to try that” while reading through her blog!
Margaret at Minnesota Mom is such an inspiration! The way that she is raising up her children helps to remind me of things I should be doing too. Plus, she isn’t afraid to admit when things don’t really go the way that she wanted them to go. Your faithfulness is admirable.
Another inspiration to me as a Catholic mother is Barb at SFO Mom. She is always full of common sense wisdom in her writing, and is also so sweet in her comments to help foster the sense of blogging community. Thanks for being you, Barb!
Happy to Be at Home is a wonderful resource written by three bloggers (Kate, Joy, & Toni) who also each have their own amazing blogs. Their blog is full of great tips and ideas for those of us at home, and most importantly, their blog helps to encourage those of us who are at home how to be *happy* that they are at home. Love your blog — it’s just super!
Kristen’s blog, Small Treasures, really is a treasure, in deed! Kristen’s outlook on life with a simple and down to earth approach is refreshing. Kristen’s attitude is inspirational — like when she recently decided to learn how to sew, and then has been creating amazing outfit after outfit. Oh, and then add on her amazing photographs (especially of all of the beautiful flowers around her home), and I might have to admit to being a little jealous.
