This past winter, I picked up a product called “Love Notes” when Jill Savage of Hearts at Home came to speak to my MOPS group. This set included 25 cards to slip into your spouse’s wallet, laptop case, shirt pocket — wherever you want! There are notes of encouragement, notes of apology, notes of love…etc. Some examples of cards have been:
You are a wonderful father.
I love you more each day.
Have a good day at work!
Together we can get through anything.
Oh…and then there is one that I have yet to give Eric…
You pick my pajamas tonight. (Or some such nonsense like that! LOL)
Hearts at Home has these available for sale for $5.00 for the set. They also have a set for friendship and another set that is for kids.
But, really — even without the set, just taking the time to write down some of these kinds of sentiments and slipping them in an unexpected spot would be great. I know that Eric not only loves them, but he has been saving them. What a sweetheart!
